Well, I did Once, but didn't see any NPC's there. =x But I think I'll try QuickCo's 5095 CoEmu source.. LegalConquer said It has only 1 bug.. Not sure if that's so, but I'll try and find it out. If there were no npcs then you were probably using the blank database that came with the source. If you look in the original post there is a link to one that has been populated with npcs and basic monster spawns.

I've never had a tq binary server. And I have no idea who you are, and I got myself into coding and private servers..

Read the last part of my post, I was referring to the O.P, who asked what we prefer regarding publicly released sources, in my case, none.

Not necessarily every public source will suck that hard, if you're commonly talking about the released ones; then yes sir. A nice example; LOTF and even crappier modified LOTF 5165.
Simply by creating your own base you study your own style, incase you use publiziced sources you have to follow their style and will get stuck with that style.
