Haha this so true, but for me personally I'm like I don't know what I even need in a private server. I've seen yours, and a few others. I'm like 100% new in this (never booted a pserver) and my coding is none.
I guess after studying, I am trying to boot Comet today, from Spirited, just to see if I can even log on haha. Also, find the client was hard for me (even though it's on the top of this forum list lmao)~
but mina, if you see the Guides pinned, there is a ton of info, I went through threads first and that was my first mistake

Pinned guides are definitely a start. Just fyi though, Comet is a bare bones source. I don't think I even implemented walking. It's a "do it yourself" kind of thing. Everything is documented inside the source though and I have commit history of every step writing it, if your goal is to learn.

I've been meaning to put together something that ties more things together for a while. I'm slowing down at work again, so maybe I'll write something soon. Also, just some thoughts around newcomers and inclusion (link below). I'm not a fan of calling out nationalities. I know a lot of hard working, talented and motivated Egyptians.
yea i thought i could grab a basic classic server files, no fancy stuff and setup for asia people to play. With some good shops/exp/droprate editing, classic can be still fun.
