ok im trying to use the 5165 co private server ive unzipped it and put in on my desktop and the oldcodb in my c: im using daksideco as the client i logged in once then logged out and now i cant get in again it just says unable to connect to the game server im using a modem no router any ideas?

Emm no, want me to upload a video to show how to fix the login **** with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or want me to find the link on microsoft website?
His problem is, 1 day i can login another i cant. with SQL Server 2005 he can input his ips so they always can connect.

5165 uses an entirely flatfile database, and doesnt use SQL in any shape or form.

So unless your going to have him reconstruct the entire database in SQL, and rewrite his entire database backend, and modify every call which goes anywhere near the database, then youve completely missed the mark with your suggestion.

He also fixed his problem with the database before you even posted.
