i need help with client 5017 server.dat setup

when i change my (server.dat) info to my ip and my server name the game say can,t load server dat please reinstal the game again could any one help me about this error iam sorry for my bad english guys

Sounds like you're changing the info incorrectly. That version's server.dat isn't encrypted.

No problem. Works for my 5017 server so it should work for any other.

Do you know if it works with 127.0.0.1 ? because i get server.dat fail.

Use your LAN ip, such as 192.168.1.xx
