Hi everyone, so i've recently started getting into online courses on how to code c#, Python ect, Is there any advice any of you could give to me as i'm really interested in getting into it and coding my own server or fixing one up,

Also could you also point me in the right direction of what i need to learn with it?
Like packets ect like give me a list of everything i need to learn about conquers files ect! Just throw all your info and resources at me!

And any good guides you would reccomend to a new guy wanting to learn,


I wanna learn absolute everything (Obviously not all at once as thats impossible) but yeah i've always loved conquer online and would like every bit of detail i can get! Thanks everybody looking forward to the replies!

If you want to learn python, I suggest this site , they teach a pretty high amount of things.


If you want to learn about Conquer you should try this site , it's a contribution by multiple Server developers from this forum to help understand/learn while working on a CoServer.


As for C#, you could try any source here and start fixing it, that's currently what I am doing. I'm a beginner and any question I have, I ask for an explanation in here. Some people will explain things and some might be rude, but you could go past those comment and try your best. A lot of the things are easily found through the source's references and definitions, but sometimes you might not understand something and might need to get a helping hand.


For Client related stuff, you should use the search option. There are many different ways to edit the client and different encryptions of a lot of things, yada yada yada…

Good luck to you and as a recommendation I would say try a source from Spirited's sticky list. Personally I enjoy pro4never's Redux V2 .

Please don't use w3schools for more than referencing as they're known to have a lot of misrepresented information and/or are slow to update their information with newest things.

Also why anyone would use w3schools to learn Python is beyond me.

Personally I recommend that because I learned the basics of HTML/PHP/SQL/CSS from there. People have to start somewhere, and it's been somewhat useful to me in the past.
