I'm looking for a stable source that would have main things working, any suggestions ?
Basically me and my friend we want to play the old CO 5165 something like that, I have couple of the old sources, but they have lots of stupid bugs like wont drop items and so on, I just want a simple working source to have nice LAN party at home and just level up, any ideas ? Which version of the game would be best ?

COPSv6 5017 by CptSky. Probably most complete source around and stable enough for LAN. You might still run into crashes / not saving though.
Could easily be fixed if you make the saving queued so it can't access the same file multiple times and **** itself or change it to a proper database if you have the skills.

Trying to compile it for past 30min with no gain... using windows ofc.
