A question!

Since in 5165 ninja's are annoyingly strong, i deided to remove the class from character creation stage from client. But...idk how to do it, just when you create a new char the ninja's wont show up.
Any ideas?

You can do something like that, AcidCO already worked it out. It's about client and not server...just get the char creation flash from an older client like 5065 and add it in your client, it should be enough.

Ok, i used CrazyCo's files, and i didnt know what exactly file to copy, and i copyed all, and know at main client when you write your acc and pass, it show me the CrazyCo logo and stuff, whats the file from that thing, to replace it

The other option that I had been considering for ninjas was to re-make them as a slightly different class.

Some fixes you could do to make them less overpowered.


A) If they wear katanas their damage overall is cut in half.

B) Non katanas, they can only equip one of. They get full dmg for that but no dual wielding.

C) re-write toxic fog to lower MAXIMUM hp of a character and not tick (so maybe lower character max hp by 20-30 percent for a minute or so)

D) use other skills such as poison star to remove all player buffs (shield/xp skill/stig/dodge)

Ninjas wouldn't be annoying then and would still have a purpose as a debuffer class. Basically would convert them into a paladin type class. They have melee (weaker then other classes) and debuf skills.

Well, i wanna try to make them non katanas, and, so they cant equip none of them, but they still have the skills, but idk how to make them not using katana's...just...removing them from itemadd.ini, thats the only idea i have , is there another one?

In your packethandler where you receive the 1001 packet (character creation) put an if statement in where it checks the class being created, if its a ninja send an error message saying the class has been disabled or something and then just disconnect the client.
