Kingdom War Map

Kingdom War Map

Ok so I'm feeling really dumb here and thought I'd open up the question to others.

It's my understanding that kingdom war was fully added to NA servers last fall but I cannot seem to find the map (loaded up every dmap recently added, searched gamemap.dat, etc).

As a test I also installed the chinese client to see if it was there with no luck.

For reference, this is the map i'm looking for.




Any info (map id for example) would be greatly appreciated. I'm sure it's just me being dumb.

Thank you so much!

I honestly spent all morning yesterday dicking around with the chinese client and cycling through maps and somehow I missed it.

Be careful with adding it tho some of the texture of the map also effects other maps since it uses the same type of texture. I attempt to add it a long time ago and was a pain in the ***. But it is possible since I added it on virtualdestiny. It also has no portals.

I already use new map textures so it works properly with no issues. I also don't need portals as it will be used for an event. I'll be adding dynamic portals to enter and exit the map.

My plan is to use it for a tower defends game where you work with allies to stop wave after wave of monsters who follow pre set paths. Dmg dealt based on type of skill used to keep classes balanced and then add in some bosses and buffs to keep people on their toes. Got it about 70% done so far just finalizing some of the logic so I can begin first tests

Tower defense, that's so nostalgic. Don't forget to add videos in the development thread!
By the way, the ApexConquer and TriumphConquer links in your signature don't work, is that on purpose?

Thanks for the heads up. Links are fixed now.

I'll add some materials to the dev thread as it gets finished up

So far the map is added, coding for the creeps is done, all waypoints and objectives in place. Just need to finish the actual event logic (scoring, rewards, etc)

Gonna have a test version included in monday/tuseday's update and then go from there based on initial feedback.
