First, don't use the CIDLoader... They bypass the altitude protection. Second, add an altitude protection for the GW Map in your source. You have to load the DMap. Third, add some check and remove the jump in the gate's sector.
With all this, you will remove the possibility to WallJump and JumpGate.
I had one awhile back from tq's ftp server but whenever I try to connect to the host it requests a password, ask around maybe someone has it (maybe someone like xEnt has it or s.bat).

Yes, you do not need to use cidloader to connect to other peoples servers.
That does not solve the problem though cause anyone wanting to jump the gate can simply use cidloader. The most effective solution is to write a pullback check (there was one on here posted to fix speed hacking) basically checks how far they are jumping and if it's over a certain amount, it will pull them back to original coords. Do something like that except doing a check to see if gate is closed and if player is jumping across that section of map. If it's closed and they do it, pull them back and write their name to a text file for gm's to review later as *possible hackers*

Yeah if you have an autopatcher, let it delete that file.
