If like to fix bugs and want to work hard on source i would recommend LOTF, cause there is a lot of bugs to fix.
If want a basic source i would recommend CoEmu, is also less buggy.
I use LOTF for the most, I have used CoEmu cause i was helping my friend out, but stopped with that and now working on LOTF

Don't feel like an outsider, feel free to post your questions, as long as you think about what your asking before you ask it.
As i said, I recommend starting with Hybrid's basic source, as the material is great and the code itself follows the standard, you should also take a look at his C# Programming tutorials.
