I Need Advise..
Guys I need Some advise...
Trojan = Fighter
Warrior = Warrior
Archer = Hunter
Taoist = Magician
NEW CHAR Merchant
Dragon Ball = Diamond Stone
CPs = ECs (Emperor Coins b'coz Its Conquer Online: The Emeperor)
Golds = Coins
I have Custom Client
One +1 Stone = Requirement to +1
One +12 Stone = Requirement to +12
3rd RB with Special Effect...
Lots of new Quests..
Client 5017
The for New Grament of TQ...(Suits one)
And All i need is how to Open MagicType.dat...
DatCryptor FAILED..
All NPC with Custom Name..

First of all if you plan to edit the MagicType.dat it's impossible with a text editor, you will need a HEX Editor to do that.

Decrypt it and edit it in notepad and then encrypt it again?
Doesnt seem impossible to me

How should i know like I'm gonna debug it. I i tried it and it didn't work, did it with a HEX Editor and it did.

Pre-Blowfish (5017-), Magictype.dat is not encrypted, it is just in binary format, which would explain why you couldn't "decrypt" a non-crypted file.
Post-Blowfish(5018+), Magictype.dat is encrypted.

LOL ok so because you werent able to do something, that makes it impossible for anyone else to do it, such a ridiculous concept. I take it that putting satelites in orbit is impossible because you cant do it aswell?
Its entirely possible to decrypt the magictype.dat file, make alterations and encrypt it again successully.

Explain being able to do with a hex editor and without it wont?

Ofcourse its possible, the whole idea of TQ putting everything into txt/dat files was easy editing and addition of existing/new spells.

ok so as i was searching with winhex in the pak file i stumbbled across all my argate and mavric and than suddenly i found all the codes to make iteams +1to+9.
Only problem is im lacking the exp in winhex after taking a year long absence.
