Starting?

Hello epvp!

I'm really interested in learning how to code a private server and I understand the steps would be to learn the language and whatnot. Any suggestions of where to start? I'm more of a hardware person when it comes to computer but I also find programming and coding interesting. Any advice of what to do, or whether to do it or not would be greatly appreciated! It's summer so I can put in around 1-2 hours a day learning! Thank you and best regards to those who answer!

Conditional statements, loops, functions, classes, etc. C# is primarily used in this community. After you learn the very basics, you could pick up a public source and take a stab at modifying it and fixing it up.
