Well, he might be giving you the right idea, actually. You're trying to deal with a lot of problems without being a programmer, and it's not our job to do work for you. Our job here is to help you with what we can - but we can't help you fix every problem in your source by programming for you. These problems you're experiencing are just the tip of the iceberg. You said you're a programmer, you should be able to follow code and debug it. What have you tried doing (besides asking for code from people outside our community like you did in your previous thread)? If you want our help, you're going to have to do some work.
Debug damage calculations. Sure, helps. But to get calculations right there is more needed than simply debugging. For example, the formula would be a great start - I don't have it, maybe you got it Fang. Why don't you give it to him instead of writing a paragraph. If you don't have it, fine, but your post is discouraging.
Remember how you started out.
Or how I started out:
Figuring out these rather complex formulas by "debugging" sounds pretty tough and like a waste of many hours if others have it already laying around.
All he has to do is follow code to the attack calculation file and edit constants. It's not complicated what-so-ever. Regarding me starting off with programming, I clearly remember teaching myself how to debug and read C#. Being unfamiliar with calling features in the client isn't the same as being unable to find bugs in a source and fix them. Also, I used all of the resources available to me before asking questions. Don't compare me to people that have no interest.
i know how to edit attack calculation. im asking how to edit the skill of twofold blade dmg coz the skill will dmg only Zero. im not asking to change the attack calculation.
Put a backpoint at the top of your skill attack switch and follow it through. See what variables change and see why it returns zero. Else, we have sources here that are much easier to use and program for, which far less random bugs and problems.
