First you need 5 things:
Hamachi
A Source:Lets take Steals Server Pack - Power Source, as a beginning
Client - Power Source
Navicat
AppServ
Fist download these things and now follow the guide
Hamachi:
Okay first you will need to make a hamachi account (If you don't have one).
Now after that creat a hamachi room.
To creat a network click on the triangle and then creat a network.
Give the room a networkname and a password.
Don't make the password hard, because all players have to go in the room to play.
Normal rooms have password set as:123
I would prefer that.
Okay now when you have your hamachi room, go and install AppServ
AppServ:
Okay now open AppServ install, when you are doing it, dont change anything.
THe only thing you have to do is choose an administratorname, password and email.
Set administratorname as localhost, but self choose a password.
Save the passsword, because you will need it later.
Now just close all things reletated to AppServ.
The Source:
Open the source folder.
Then open these folders:
Source>PowerSource CO>COServerProject1>COServerProject>bin>Debug
Now open the file Config
Do this:
[Server]
ServerIP=Your hamachi ip
XPRate=The exp rate
ProfXPRate=The prof exp rate
DBUserName = "root"
DBUserPass = "Your AppServ Password
Now save it and you are done with the source.
Now close it down and install Navicat
Navicat:
Okay, you see the panel:Connections
Click right click on it and choose New Connection
Then a box will pop up:
Now write localhost as Connection Name, because that is your
AppServ Nickname
Don't change Port or User Name or hostname/IP adress
Okay now write you AppServ Password under Password
Then click on Test Connection, if you have done it right it says:
Connection Successfull
Okay now you have made a connection, then couble click on your connection.
And Click right click, then choose Creat database
Okay now set it as this:
Database Name:coproj
Character set:utf8 -- UTF-8 Unicode
Collation:Utf8_General
Okay now you have created a database.
Then double click on coproj and right click and choose
Execute BatchFile
Then open the folder with your source and open installation
Then choose the powerbackup.sql
Now you have made a database, now open the client folder
and open the file server.dat
You need to open it as a note file.
Now do this:
[Header]
GroupAmount=1
Group1=GroupPic10
[Group1]
ServerAmount=1
Server1=ServerName
Ip1=Hamachi IP
Port1=9958
ServerName1=ServerName
HintWord1= Your Private Server Name
Pic1=servericon80
Okay now your client is done, now you only need to make
an account for you and make registration to the server.
Okay go to Navicat and choose Accounts
Then do this:
Account ID = Your Login name
Password = Dont write anything here
Logon Type = Set this as 2
Status = Set this as 8 (For GM) and if you want to be PH st it as 7
AccountNumber = The number of the account, set this as 1
Now your accounthave been created
How to open server:
Open your hamachi and then your hamachiroom
Now open navicat and choose your connection
Then open the sourcefolder and go in this folder:
Source>PowerSource CO>COServerProject1>COServerProject>bin>Debug
Then open the PowerCourceCO
Now open your Client and login
About the registration thing, you can search in forum to find it
