Timer

Would thi sbe how i go about making a timer for my server?

In General.cs

        public static System.Timers.Timer Thetimer;
Code:
                //Regular Save Timer
                Thetimer = new System.Timers.Timer();
                Thetimer.Interval = 5000;//5 seconds
                Thetimer.Elapsed += new ElapsedEventHandler(Thetimer_Elapsed);

and then im done

is ther anything im missing
im making an auto save timer for lotf

just a hint dont make it auto save every 5 secs thats WAY to much

Don't make a timer to save, waste of memory and all that jazz.
Just have it save when people logout, and maybe when they do important ****, like trade or win items, etc.

Honestly i would say every 10-15 mintues or like kinshi said when they log out

LOTF has a save function for that. Saves whenever a person logs off or you close the server using ''enter''
