Starting up Co1

I am going to attempt to make a 4351 server if anyone wants to join this project feel free

We will be starting from SCRATCH there is no question about that

Anyone wanting to help

Start by telling me ideas of what there should be and what there should not be i am looking to make it a mix kinda like co1/co2

Lotto will most likely not be implemented and cps will MOST likley not be implemented we will see how this goes


I am not the most experienced in coding but i will give it a try

2. 4351 isnt Co1

3. If you DID add cps then you would have to update the client

4. (there is the same thread like 40 times, not from you )

Thats cool, CO was great back then, Co was actually fun and not the screwed up way it is now, Hope to see this server become big =)

Yeah thats why im hoping because i have noticed that alot of people are wanting to play co1 and are pretty much are like screw co2 so once i get a community going and a team setup i will start

The problem with Co1 servers is Packets and the Packet Encryption.
Since you can't log Packets, and alot of the structures have changed.

But yeah.. good luck, you'll def need it.

Best of luck. As kin already said, nothing to log packets from and everything is years old and everything has changed.

I've seen loads of threads before of people starting 1.0 projects, I've yet to see anything even remotely finished... but best of luck

Many packets for the 4351 client are public in the olds sources.

Did you all hear that TQ is making a Co 1.0 server again. I asked a guy on Live support and they said it will be back in about 1 year
