[HELP] To get Online

Hi guys i just finish my server im using Source 5679.
My problem is i have my source in a virtual machine using windows XP my computer windows is 8.
in the source configuration im using my local virtual machine IP but after i try login from a diferente computer i cant login.
Can some give me a litel help.
I was tiking making a virtual machine whit windows server fo my source but i tink thats not going to work can some one give me a litel help?

Why can't you run your source without virtual machine? LOL

Trying to run a private server in a virtual machine offers you zero possible benefits and a whole slew of possible headaches.


If you're going to home host you may as well just host in your actual OS, not some virtualized garbage (esp windows xp lol)

Yes i can but because im using Windows 8 whit ip changer i cant use the source in windows 8.

But i just fix it i change to VMWare Workstation and its runing online now.

Guys i realy need some help, i only can get inside the server if connected to the same network as the server.

Can some one tell me how can i put my server on for any one in any were can log in.

And of curse whit out using Hamachi.
