The fix is to code the prizes into the npc. yay problem solved!
You've provided us with no code or anything to use to help you with. If something doesn't work in a private server then that means you need to code that functionality yourself fort he most part.
In other words, the NPC you entered, in NPCS.cs or whatever, doesn't have the ability to send an item to your character, how to fix this:
1. Check your code, if you have added the rewarder
2. Read #1 again.
