How to make a Conquer online private server with one of the lotf sources
Before i start I would like to give credit to:

MeGaMaX
I used their guides to make my own and i hope i can make a guide using both of theirs to make an easier to follow version.

Things needed to make the server:
Appserv>SourceForge.net:
Navicat Mysql>
PowerSource>MEGAUPLOAD - MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service
To extract the PowerSource use this password:4botters
Client 5017: MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service
Navicat 8 Serial : NAVD-KUUH-LPQE-RTUV
Step 1: Appserv installation
When installing just do the default installation choices. simple enough? But make sure that you use localhost, and remember your password. Email doesnt really matter, and make sure that the username is "root".
Step 2: Navicat
When you first open navicat if you havent entered in the serial it will tell you how many days left for the trial. Just use the serial. It will make it much easier for you.
Ok, so now if ur at the main window with the complicated buttons and such. You should have a button under "file" and "view" that says Connection.
Click it and put localhost in the "Host Name/IP Address" space if it isnt already there. The connection name doesnt matter, just put what you want.
The Info should be filled out like this:
Connection Name: (your connection name)
Host Name/IP Address: localhost
Port: 3306
Username: root
Password: (password used in appserv)
If you have this filled out correctly press "Test Connection". If it says "Connection Successful" then pat yourself on the back. If it comes up with something else it's most likely going to be this:
1045-Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (Using password: YES)
If you get that it is no big deal. Simply go to Start then All Programs Then AppServ then Reset MySQL Password. It will open up a black box and such and may come up with an error but just press ok (it doesn't effect anything). So, then when it loads it will say something like:
New Password:
After you put it in press enter, wait until it does its thing once more. Then it'll say press any key. Ok, your done with that.
Go back to your Navicat and do the same connection thing like before. If you did it right it will say "Connection Successful" when you press test connection.
Ok, now you have the connection It will have a little tab under "connections" . Double click it to open the connection.
Now it will look like this:
(your connection name)
-information_schema
-mysql
-phpmyadmin
-test
Right click your connection and press "New Database"
The window will open up and put this information in:
coproj
utf8 -- UTF-8 Unicode
utf8_general_ci
Click ok. Now you will have a database above "information_schema" that says "coproj". Double click it to make it green. Once it is green it will have:
Tables
Views
Stored procedures
Events
Queries
Reports
Backups
By the way extract PowerSourceCO if you havent already done so...
Right click on coproj and click "execute batch file". In the window it will have:
Server: localhost
Database: coproj
File: (browse for powerbackup in PowerSourceCO)
Encoding: 65001 (UTF-8)
Click start, and after it is done it should say successful. If it does just click close. Now that you did that open "Tables" under "coproj" and then in the big box to the right it should have Accounts and Characters and stuff like that. If it doesn't you might just have to click the "Tables" button over it.
Go into Accounts and type in:
Your account name
DONT PUT A PASSWORD IN! IT WILL SAVE WHEN YOU LOG IN
Log on type should be 2
And Status should be either 0, 7, or 8.
0=normal player
7=player master
8=game master
That's all you need for Navicat. So, keep it minamized or something (just make sure that it stays running).
Step 3: Running the server
Go into PowerSourceCO and go into:
In there you will see "Config.ini" open it and change it accordingly:
[Server]
ServerIP=Hamachi is what i use for my ip, but it works with others.
XPRate=whatever rate you want
ProfXPRate=whatever rate you want
DBUserName = "root"
DBUserPass = "Your AppServ Password"
Now save that and close it. Run: PowerSourceCO.exe
A black window will appear once again, and if you have done everything right it will say:
Loaded Npcs, monsters, items, yada yada ya
Welcome to the new PowerSourceCO
Always close using enter or characters will not be saved
So, if it says that CONGRATULATIONS! YOUR SERVER IS ONLINE!
Step 4: Running the client
Ok to run the client go into the "client" folder.
Find CIDServer.dat and change it accordingly:
[Header]
GroupAmount=1
Group1=GroupPic9
[Group1]
ServerAmount=1
Server1=Your server name
Ip1=The ip you used in Config.ini
Port1=9958
ServerName1=Your server name
HintWord1=Your welcome message
Pic1=servericon30
Do the same thing to Server.dat.
Now double click CIDLoader.exe to start the game.
*Additional*
For people to join your server they must have the same client with the same Server.dat and CIDServer.dat. Also, they must connect to your hamachi network.
*Note*
If you run AVG Free it will automaticly pick Conquer.exe as a trojanhorse because it doesnt have a digital signature.
