How to make private server?

Hello!
I got 4267 conquer client. What must I do to make private server with this?

Learn a programming language. Practice the programming language. Learn a bit of the standard library with your chosen language for things that you'll need. Begin programming.

Alternatively, you can grab a source with a guide from the releases section and have one set up in 5 minutes, but where's the fun in that? And also, the public 4267 sources don't really have that many features implemented correctly anyway.
