I am looking for a hoster for my conquer online private server.

Must meet this requirements:

1. Trustworthy
2. Speaks English Fluently

3. Online a lot
4. Must let me have 24/7 access to PC when i need it



PC Requirements:



1. Pentium D Processor or higher

2. 2GB of RAM or higher

3. Around 20GB of free hard drive space

4. No Router!!!

5. 4MB+ down and 500kb+ up on your internet connection, dont no?

how much upload does it take to run a pServer?
If I wanted to run a 100 person or 200 person server, how much upload would I need?

i can give you VPS from my Ded Server

2 Intel Core2Quad Q9300
4 gb ram
Connect 100mb
Download 12mb
Upload 8 mb > 12 mb

but what for what is your server have and what i will get if i do that

Okay, that makes sense.



PC Requirements:



1. Pentium D Processor or higher Why does it have to be Pentium? Why not an intel?

2. 2GB of RAM or higher If your source is good, you'll only need max of around 500mb ram to run it, but I can see if you want a lot.

3. Around 20GB of free hard drive space Who doesn't have that? But you only need < 1G to store a source and database, even for a flat file database.

4. No Router!!! Why no router? Around 80% of people using the internet probably use a wireless router... They can be portforwarded.

5. 4MB+ down and 500kb+ up on your internet connection, dont no?
That speed is terrible. Just saying.

Pentium = Intel. =d

Stealarcher is just saying the minimum specs required. It could be an AMD as long as it is faster or equivalent to a Pentium D. Dx

Not sure why people want high download speeds when its upload you need to run as server.

Because the more download bandwidth you have, the more ***** you can get. Durrrrr.

You need download and upload to run a server.
Download to receive packets, upload to send packets.

Although download is usually higher, and you only need about equal amounts of both.

For an MMORPG server, where it is the central point of communication, the server requires (and uses) more upload than download. :/

Not necessarily. The clients have to request data as well, which requires downloading to receive packets.
