Okay guys, I've been wanting to make my own CO private server for so long. About since 6 years ago, when I started CO 1.0. I've had so many awesome ideas, and I'm even in freaking college now to get a certification in C# Programming. Problem is, I can't freaking make my dreams come true because either my computer hates me, I'm thinking too hard, or I am just an idiot.

Every time I try to make my own private server, even after following guide after guide (videos and text guides), I can't seem to get this damn thing to work. Any time someone has the same problem as me, they either figure it out themselves, "Nevermind, I just figured it out, thanks!", the English is horrid, "Baka Laka version.dat shamma llama alpacas MySQL ping pong zing Apache cats", they use terms and obscure descriptions to find something, "Yeah, and then you take the PhPMyAdmin and import it in to the flux capacitor and then you ABSOLUTELY MUST put exactly 5.343 ounces of catnip in your hard drive or else you'll get the login error of a thousand geese", or they use links to MegaUpload and the thread has been dead for over 3 years.

I'm trying to instill humor in to this, because that's what I do when I'm really fucking irritated. Anyways, if someone could PLEASE point me in the right direction of getting my server online (even to just myself, that would be a start), I will bake you cookies and give you a fucking pedicure. Here's what I have so far:

- Windows 7 64 bit
- Navicat for MySQL (latest version)
- AppServ (latest version)
- Eternity Client (version.dat says 5165 but I think it's a later version)
- Awesome100able source (includes OldCODB and rikardo updated)
- Microsoft Visual C# 2010
- Conquer Loader version 1.2 (dunno if I actually need this, I just have it, however whenever I have used it before to run Conquer.exe, I've gotten the blue screen so I don't know if I have to run it in compatibility mode or if this is the key to my problems and my computer just doesn't want me to be successful)
- Hamachi (latest version)

If you need any more information, please let me know. I have so many great ideas in my head and I have seen all of these successful private servers, and I just want to make my own. I don't care right now if there's ninja/pirate classes or not. I just want to get this fucking thing up and running so I have something to do in my free time that will make me happy. So, sorry for the bitching, and I rarely resort to help, but I need it right now. If anyone wants to help me in the server, with coding/scripting/whatever, I would greatly appreciate it so I have someone to talk to instead of listening to dubstep while I drink my Pure Leaf sweet tea. If you'd like to help me, PM me or reply on this thread. Here's what I'm looking for in someone to help me:

- Maturity
- Patience
- Not a fucking douche
- Initiative
- Has time
- Somewhat knowledgeable in coding/scripting/etc.

1- Where are you from ? don't misunderstand me i just wanna to know where are you from...

2- Are you will to make a good server not to make a fast cash from it but to entertain people ?

3- Do you have a knowledge at C# ?

4- Do you have the time to operate a server that maybe be famous and get some players ?

And I will provide you with answers.

1. I am from USA (Ohio). I did not take your question the wrong way.

2. I am doing this for myself, and for all of those players that miss a game that isn't centered around cash flow and purchasing a bunch of DBs so they can MAYBE stand a chance against those who have 350 dollars a week to spend. I want to make a game where EVERYONE has a chance to beat someone else. Sure, donations will give you a boost but not TOO much of a boost.

3. I am a beginner C# programmer, but I am very quick to learn. That's partially why I want to make a server. To learn more and hone my talents while doing something I enjoy.

4. I have plenty of time. I have college on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:00 PM to 3:45 PM. I have a job as well, but I get off at 5:00 PM on weekdays, 3:00 PM on Saturdays and am off on Sundays. I do not work Monday or Wednesday. So, I have plenty of time.

IDK my server works fine, "32" bit and on my 64 bit cpu it doesnt work for me... So maybe thats ur problem? though I kinda doubt it

You more than likely have inserted the wrong binary numbers into your database and that caused your ram to go one byte off then a ushort was loaded into your harddrive and therefor one of the values in the code was changed by the graphics card and the power was converted from edx to ebx, which was terrible and I believe that is why you are having problems, It could also be to do with the chips on your cpu, it could be processing the bin numbers incorrectly and therefor have a knockon effect on the conquer server, So just send "5,33-12" to the cpu and that should fix it.

Okay, thank you very much I think I just fixed it. But after inserting those said numbers in to the CPU (I had to do it manually with a screwdriver), don't I have to take my stage 2 supercharger and insert it in to the USB drive of my dog's boat? Reply quickly please, I'm stumped and my computer is starting to smoke. I gave it some patches, but it seems addicted.

No you must insert the quantum hyperdrive cpu into your dogs boat and then install a nano-hyper 512MB ram stick in and then clock it with a dark-matter monkey which will produce a fast dog boat which you can ram into the PSU with a plasma Cookie.
