[Help] Character Set (utf8, ascii and etc...).

I changed all the fields that stores strings in my database to utf8, but am not able to make store-type character: † among others ...What else should I change so you can store any character?

Replace Yours in creat character implment

  Name = Encoding.UTF8.GetString(buffer, 24, 16).Replace("\0","");

UTF8 should be able to store such characters.

The problem is not the source, when the string is stored in the table, the characters do not appear.

What are you using to view your database with? Potentially that application doesn't support UTF8 characters, as the problem doesn't appear in game...
