how do i make mobs move ?
i have a non loft source (kos source ) and its with inis
can someone teach me how to make mobs move and also how to add what they drop but make it so they dont always drop it.

Look in the lotf source nd look for a moving mob and modify it to work for your source..

we tried that already, didnt work. We also tried making a code from scratch with the lotf base in mind that was similar to the other codes... didnt work.
Welcome to my headache =3. Also i do believe the drops are in a .ini file... cant remember anymore.

I`m not sure about this one since I haven`t encountered it, but I think that it might be something with a packet. If you`re using a QO client, take a look at CoEmu`s packets, it had moving mobs.

hi im probably not very smart at this but if you look it says MobDrops and i dont know how to make it drop different items but you can edit that so it drops what you want

Actually, I tried. I never tested it because I deleted the QO client. I'm dunno the differences between the 5017 and 4351 packet structures(if they changed), or even the source I was using...
And I know you're good at copying and pasting stuff from LOTF, no need to say that here.

lol eh well alex as i've always said C# really isnt me, but eh despite me constantly telling people im not good at coding never really tells them =Þ

Never seen CoEmu, I'm not that "old" into the pserver scene.

lol think twice before posting. copying and pasting , it wont work that way...=] and u know. u also need to put things together to work. so...all i would "copy&paste" its just an packet.
EDIT: and what...u say,...u could get the packet without any help or what? cos i totaly think u could.

Hey tao, im gonna come back to ask you for help on remaking this entire source from scratch in about i wanna say July... but yea, i want to see exactly how far i can get with this source for one thing, and then if we remake it from scratch, we can fix those errors your were talking about b4.
Well thats if you're up for it xD after july we all may be on different projects.... eh.

First let me say that I take no credit in coding Grotto, im just releaseing a way to make your mobs inside Grotto to move like they are supposed to. And i'm probably not the first person to figure this out. May even be an easier way of doing it, but this is how I done it.
Before we get started, you should go follow pringles guide on loading DMaps if you have not yet done so.
After that goto NPCDialog.cs and find this under your Grotto NPC:
if (Control == 1)

I creat my private server with TheCoServer and:
-The mobs doesn' t move and attack :s.
-I can change the xp/drop rate ????
-I can make a npc for rebirth 1 and 2 ?????
-I can' t learn a new skill or i haven' t this in my data base :s.
