[Pirate Help] Blade Tempest Skill Did not work !
when i was trying the pirate class i came across "Blade tempest" skill and i figuered that it did not work so i decided to go to the Handle.cs and found tha the "Blade Tempest" skill field is empty

You can probably use the already existing method for getting targets with FB/SS/Speedgun to get the targets for this skill. After which, just apply the damage to them, and send the magic attack packet.

Pretty much the same as FastBlade or ScentSword. Look at the attack handler for those two skills, the same method should work.

so skill worked with FastBlade codes but it looks like Fire Circle idk why and only attacks 1 target after many clicks (buggy) what i do

You're probably not sending the right skill ID in the magic attack packet then. As for the number of targets, as long as you didn't change the FB/SS method it should be fine. Check that the code for those methods isn't running into any errors.

Am Afraid it wont Work Till u Upgrade your source into 5573 .. Never Try to i Tried Loading its Effect using String Effect packet 1015 but couldnt even get the string Name from Folder / 3DEffect.ini or even WDF packages So i gave up and u should too cuz even u did u cant add it completely ..Sry but its the truth

lol i had had a 5573 source but i formated my drive so do any one have it can share it or no ?
my source is 5568 now

Yeah, that's what I mean. Set the spell ID to the ID of blade tempest.
As for the effect packet, just put the effect in the effects folder and add it to the appropriate INI files.

i already have the other skills work good with effects on the 5568 client but idk what matter with the Blade Tempest

Skill ID is most likely wrong. Click on the line where it sets the spell ID and press your F9 key. This will set a breakpoint at that location. Now, go ahead and use blade tempest. If all goes well, the server will jump to the front and tell you that it has stopped at that location. Look at your bottom left tabs, check the "Locals" tab. Find the "suse" I think it was, and expand the object. Look at the SpellID field and make sure it is in fact the spell ID of blade tempest. Once you've checked that, press your F5 key to resume running the server, and go back to your breakpoint and click the line, then hit F9 again to clear it.

well i have made it  just as dragon whirl getting the new attacksubtype getting right effects and motion then tada  but the only thing i stucked at that how to repeate the char !

Repeat the char? Howso? If you're talking about the spinning effect, it's done by the magicattack packet I would assume.

So I have done like this topic said, but instead of replacing the whole database, I just replaced the skill (and later on the BaseItemsDefs and ExpDefs just in case). I exported the skills to a csv, and into Skill.SData. I then placed it inside my data file(s). I started the game, but it still wont pass level 3. What could be wrong? I don't think I have to replace the items/mobitems/mobs/productlist to get it to work. Any ideas?
