Server Using 5076 GUI?
Whats the problem with people not being able to crate a server that uses this interface?

@Catacomb187 The problem is that only few people from this community have enough knowledge on the encryption the new client uses. However it would be possible to either switch to old encryption or disable it, this would require some knowledge on asm; (I know this can be done, but like on the encryption thing, only few people have enough knowledge to actually pull this together.)

He means changing the login GUI of a 5016 client to the 5076 client.
I think, it's what I gather from this..

Easiest way to have the new GUI is to have the new client version.

The new gui is fully intergrated into the 5076 client...you cant intergrate it into the 5016/5017 client. Well, you probably could but no one here has the knowledge or motivation to do it.

If you mean the login interface, AcidCO. Plus, they are the only private server around at the moment using client v5035 (the highest one currently).
But like other people are saying it, it's the lack of knowledge/inability/laziness to get it.

So, its just a point of breaking the the new encryption method. Guess I'll start packet logging and give it a try.

The encryption/decryption technique is public. You just need to know where to look. It was mentioned before in another thread.

The protocol is public, theres no guide for it anywhere however, so its implementation is still private
