just remember, when you create the account in you mysql, only make the account name, and login type 2. The password you use your first login will be your password always.
If you can't get the CIDLoader to work to open a client, it's an issue with the conquer.exe
If that's the case, let me know, and I'll upload the proper exe for you.
yeah i went to my router and opened the ports, still wont work, URG private servers are a pain, I cant even set up this one or a hamachi server, Makeing me rele angry 0.o
Well... First, let's see if it's an issue with the port forwarding for you.
Change your IP's in whatever files are needed to 192.168.1.100
If that fails try 192.168.1.101
and keep increasing the last number on the line 1 with each try, equaling a different number for each computer you have connected.
example, if 3 computers are connected to router.
try each
192.168.1.100
192.168.1.101
192.168.1.102
Now if you can't connect that way, it means there is an issue with your client, most likely being patched incorrectly. If you do connect, it means you're having issues portforwarding.
Let me know how things turn out with that, so we can take another step.
Atleast that was the case for me. I've uploaded a working conquer.exe for you, just replace your current one with this, then run the CIDLoader, and all should be fine.
I didn't make this exe though, so credit goes to the creator, however, I don't remember his name. I know you can find it elsewhere on these forums, but it's a pain to locate.
Uhm never seen a 300kb conquer and It gets an error on start game dll was not found, And after all this trouble im giving up on making my own private server, /request topic removal.
thanks a lot Incariuz... I haven't messed with databases in years so I figured I messed it up some how but it was a bad conquer... your file made my conquer load... now to see if it logs on to the server, thanks again!

And ehm... Thread starter, start the server, and also look at the source, study it , look at it whatever, try to understand it, and together with that, try to learn a bit basic coding, you'll love it after a while
