Another CO.
Hey guys,
so i was thinking of something new for CO after talking abit in future of pserver's thread, Lv100 max, with creating a new kind of items even if they are on the same level, same quality but different stats, each map gonna be for a class, example; DesertCity is for warrior class, contains all of it's items and skills..
Another PvP system, you click on the player with a special cursor to invite him for a pvp fight, you stay in the same map, an area of 20x, 20y or something, if you played ZO you may know it =/.
so which patch this project should start from?
uhmm.. maybe another City, eh tell me some ideas >;o

Thanks, but still some pieces of the puzzle missing.. changing CO takes alot of effort and ideas.

I don't think that'd work well with this game. Classes should be kept together. That way, you can create teams that can benefit one another (which is primarily why I'm keeping my classes together). I understand what you mean though. I was at this stage a few years ago when I was developing ideas for private servers. I came up with another idea though that replaced this.
Also, I already suggested that idea (about PVP) ... but TQ ignored it. Here's a link to the suggestion:

and about the classes; I won't look every class with it's map, you're free to go anyway it's just giving a better gameplay, ex. you just created your character as a archer, you get spawned at bi.. and start living as usual, a simple reward for points you gain from leveling noobs (dont remember the name of it) and a system for finding teams; archers would be dying for leveling another classes, or we can make maps about modern-old realms, each items in these kind of realms got it's effect, you know something like that. :/
#Edit2:- Adding pets, since it's already added to CO.. it's not a hard job to make each "pet" gives a value of HP/MP. bleh, got excited.

Yah... I was banned twice. The first time for suggesting a lot of "impossible" ideas that went into too much detail about the client and server; the second time for explaining why the client was having a bug and how tq could fix it (they never did and it creates a LOT of attack problems, oh well).
Anyways, If the regular way would be better gameplay, then way change it? Making new maps for multiple leveling areas would be a suggestion worth looking into. With pets... I'm already implementing that into Burning Skies. What do you mean though? Pets give their owners HP and MP bonuses? Wouldn't that be the job of attribute points and items?

Yes, but as usual.. MMO attracts people if you give them pets able to be leveled/adding HP/MP.. they'll like it, i guess. maybe pets can give different stats about their kind.?
atm, I've so many ideas crashing on my head ;x

i think this can be a nice idea, i thought something like this sometime ago, with exp bonus if there aren't two equals classes in a team, changing classes, items reqs, etc...

the more u r different from tq the more ppl wont come to ur server
cuz simply most of ppl who had been on private servers is there cuz they cant get a good gear on a real tq server , so they like to see it similar to tq

andrewxxx already done this one but instead of the team option
aka when u invite someone to team u r inviting him to go to special arena for pvp
once he is in team u scroll with an item to special pvp match and it was awesome
but about level 100 and map for each class *cough* wont really be great idea but that's my own point of view

This can say the whole thing, but no.. what you see upthere is the something that people hate, and I'm not searching for people who just want to get good on a server; No thanks, not here there's already multiple servers gives 999k CPs for a start.
I'm talking about developing CO generally.
so, which patch this project should start from? in my opinion.. the more higher the better, but still you're opinion is appreciated.

Well if you want to use the newer stuff tq used in their clients you can use a high patched client but im pretty sure there are lots of pple loving old jumps and the classic 5 classes.

Development would affect any of jump or classes, you can say im improving only classes and maps and yes, it's going to be like a newer stuff like what TQ is doing; at the same time TQ is improving sh*t, and leaving PvP behind.. I'll take care of PvP/GvG etc.
since me and Fang got the same ideas (I guess.) you can know more about developing CO from his  .
