I am currently working on a 5017 PVP server. This is to bring back the old style pvp that we all miss.

We are currently in the testing phase, and are not in beta yet.

We will be entering BETA 3/17/12 and for the mods i guess this thread could be moved to advertisment forum then? Either way is fine with me.

The source base is based off Hybrids Bugless Source, Here is a little information about the progress and whats been added and what hasnt.

Logging in = Done.
Spawning character = Done.
Spawning items = Done.
Spawning Guilds = Done.
Spawning Nobility = half way done.(Have the packets just have to actually code them in if the community wants)

Events = Not done (Wanting ideas)

I have made a few commands that are PERFECT for the server that i think will work amazingly

One command that i think will work is the /duel command

Information about /duel
Basically whenever you want to challenge a player to a duel in SS/FB you type in /duel *playername*

This command will send a invite to *playername* asking him to participate, if he accepts then both players will be teleported to a map. Whenever they are sent to this map they will be automatically equiped with noob blade/sword combo. The players will only be allowed to use ss/fb in this map. They will play until one person reachs 5 - 10 hits (Exact number has not been determined yet) and it will declare the winner to the server and they will be transfered out of the map. The winner of this duel will be stored in the database as a WIN and the loser as a LOSE. We will sooner or later be able to show the WIN/LOSE ratio on the website.

We are currently wanting ideas for events.

As we are in the Development phase we have yet decided on a name. We are currently wanting ideas from the Community, They play the server they should pick a name that they are comfortable with.

Good luck, lots of PVP server's starting up :P

And honestly, anybody that played pvp the old school(and still likes to) 9x out of ten quit conquer long time ago. Go for abit more of a higher patch

Right now I haven't met anyone interested in that old school pvp, AcidCO for example, people are barely playing and that's the greatest pvp server of all time.
