How to work the LOFT source as a pro!

Some portals wont work because you did not add them. Im not sure,since I cant look atm ( computer broken ) , it should be a file in the folder where the source is and ****,that is named portal. Just add the mapid,coordx and coordy and it should be working.

Thanks. I added them in Portals in MyPhP test portal both in same map.
made 2 portals, both connecting to each other , didnt work.

Added same in Portals.txt that was already in the server files

Saved and Restarted Server both times. Still nothing..
Any other ideas?

Sorry,I cant give you an correct answer right now.

nah,didnt fix my computer,oh well,I got it running then when I restarted it,it just wont start anymore,it looks like I have to re-install it,means all my files will go away.. I'll see what I can do about it,just hope it dont looses my files :'(

Get a High Capacity USB, Notebook or External HD, copy-paste the things, re-install the windows and paste them again xD

Mmm well I did that before it crashed the second time,and now I've re-installed the computer. Will have all stuffs by tomorrow I think,when I can help fully again =D

Ummm idk why but im having trouble with part of the setup.. it doesnt load up a page or anything and i changed the ip and the accnt and pass under config.. yeah emme add me on msn

Hi. First of all, thanks for making this great guide, although i still have 1 prob.
I get the same problem as quadruple1. I can go to phpmyadmin, but i'm not sure which table i'm supposed to be looking for.
If you dont mind, i added you to my MSN so you can talk to me there.

When u add the database itll have the tables which part r u looking 4 ? account is accounts and mobs is mobs npc is npcs... whats so hard lol

The only problem i have for now is logging in. When try to log in the screen says connecting, then logging in, then an error with no writing shows up. Once i click ok, i go back to the log in screen. Also, when i check my server status, it says *****(my account name) log in, and underneath it says, No char found.
I hope some1 can help me with this problem.


And just so u guys know, im hosting the server from another computer and trying to log in on mine. I've checked through my server files over and over again, but im still not to familiar with the coding so for all i know, the problem could be in one of the .cs files.

Make sure you made the account correct,in Account table in db,this should only be filled in,leave the rest blank:

* AccountID
* LogonType
* Status

AccountID = Username to login with, (not char name )
LogonType = Which logontype,u probally have this one at 1,try make it 2
Status = Acc status,8 for GM

Also try to make a brand new account.

Did this many time's and i've been looking through my code for a long time to see if anything's wrong. No matter what i do, it still says: "char not found".
If any1 else had this problem: how did u solve it?


Also, if some1 wants, they can upload their source. maybe there's something wrong with mine.

Oh,now I remember. You're the one that I tried to help through teamviewer,but didnt success due to the stupid teamviewer lagg and because I was tired. Try to re-download a source,and use another database,use the backup you have in source folder,and see if it works then.

i have Qonquer Client and Official Conquer Client Patch 5017

i try to change IP to my IP(192.168.1.xx) or Exchange it With Qonquer's Server.Dat File that Work with Pervious Sources ,but both messege say :
"Server.Dat is Changed or Failed to open .please reinstall the Game"
**Is there Way to edit Conquer Server.dat file for this home Ips ???

also when i try to make this with the chrcters that come on backup file with Soruce it is the same!!!

Your IP is not 192.168.1 blablabla. First,go and open your ports,when that is done,do this:

Go into , there you get your real IP. Use that instead of all the others,done.
