To be honest,you really need Microsoft C# 2010 Express to get it work!
Heres the link:

Choose Visual C# 2010 Express from the list, after that choose the language, save it and install it

visual basic is a programming language.

Visual studio is a PROGRAM that you use to write a language such as visual basic or C#.

The servers posted on epvp except for 1-2 are all in C#. Visual studio will work just fine with C#.

Download visual studio 2010 for C# and you'll be just fine.

Remember to open project files, not the individual .cs's.
