I'm not even going to ask why replacing "English" by "Chinese" does the trick!

The truth is it works and i can do it myself next time

doesn't look right. The one I used has TQ right next to the word English just like in the Screen shots the author provided.

i was just about to search for this thread to try and make a multiclient for the new patch (4353) but i tried to unpack it but it said it wasnt packed so we will need a completly new way of making multiclients form now, when you search for the string in a hex editor on the new conquer.exe then its not found cos its not there

The .exe for patch 4353 is not packed,however the text string Fps:%d is no longer followed by the word English. so someone has some work to do.....

Well i just tried it, and it no longer works. A few spots down "english" is there, i changed it still no go. i have done my best. but since im no hacker, someone with more experience will have to take over. :?

Well I got mines working now, I just searched "English" and it was there and I changed it...

Ok i also made it.
I dunno if it makes a difference, but on the Search tick OFF case sensitive.
then on text string write english. He will sent you to the one that is screenshoted on a previous thread, but there is another u just have to click ALT+F3, and he will find a new one, and thats the one that you have to replace by Chinese.

At least i did it this way... and its working... hope u can also do it

Here's what I did after reading this thread. Open conquer.exe in hex editor, searched the word "English" (without the quotation marks), replaced the E with an e and it worked like a charm. enjoy
