Yes, it works the true metdove is still white name when you are 34, yet the fake are green. You said that you posted this right after they patched the portal...
BUT, there is already a pinned thread on this subject and there should never be more than one thread on a certain subject.

I've done a lvl 34 char and all birds are white, I've tested with a real met dove and it was also white. My char is a lvl 34 taoist. It depends of the profession of the char? Or if he was promoted at lvl 15 (mine not)?
Or since the new patch this doesn't work any more?

I was thinking while pking in MZ, i couldnt find the 5 met dove, but the potency is probally different? Thats another way you could tell them diff? Maybe have a program that shows all of there potency instead of having to go over them, and just see what one has more then all the others? +K if it helped =]

dunno if this has been posted or if u alrdy knew this but if u take a lvl one noob into mz with u and get him to die but make sure he doesnt lvl or go blue get metdoves to kill him he wont drop a thing meaning u can get out of mz with all ur goodies ^_^
