I have been messing with my ini files and have had some fun changing the names of the NPC. This is clent sided only so only you could see the new names. It does not give you any advantages rather than fun only, and plus, its not detectable.
Firstly, go to the ini folder of conquer's directory and then open up npc.ini... you should see something like this...
[NpcType1]
Name=Storekeeper
SimpleObjID=0211
StandByMotion=999001100
BlazeMotion=999001190
RestMotion=999001101
Effect=none
ASB=5
ADB=6
FixDir=0
[NpcType2]
Name=Barber
SimpleObjID=266
StandByMotion=999266100
BlazeMotion=999266102
RestMotion=999266101
Effect=none
ASB=5
ADB=6
FixDir=0
[NpcType3]
Name=Pharmacist
SimpleObjID=272
StandByMotion=999272100
BlazeMotion=999272102
RestMotion=999272101
Effect=none
ASB=5
ADB=6
FixDir=0
all you have to do is to edit the Name=____________ line and change it into something you fancy! It must not contain spaces, symbols, or punctuations.
This is what I've done
[NpcType1]
Name=Pussyhole
SimpleObjID=0211
StandByMotion=999001100
BlazeMotion=999001190
RestMotion=999001101
Effect=none
ASB=5
ADB=6
FixDir=0
[NpcType2]
Name=SweeneyTodd
SimpleObjID=266
StandByMotion=999266100
BlazeMotion=999266102
RestMotion=999266101
Effect=none
ASB=5
ADB=6
FixDir=0
[NpcType3]
Name=Drug_Dealer
SimpleObjID=272
StandByMotion=999272100
BlazeMotion=999272102
RestMotion=999272101
Effect=none
ASB=5
ADB=6
FixDir=0
and heres a screenshot of the result- I showed the former storekeeper and other NPCs!
enjoy!
