Hunting Tip

It seemed to improve my drops but I doubt it works. I got a elite(1scatter) +1 met and uni in the first 4mins of hunting

True..i was hutnign in same spawn for like 2-3 days, n got sup Tro armor...so solution is, take the same spawn all the time, better chances to find items...

lol it sounds pretty gimmicky to me... and there's that pk risk that everyone isn't really willing to take... imagine u got a met or two, a good load of ref/uni items and someone comes along (20-30 lvls above u) and fbs your ***... not to mention the gold u get from hunting... you may lose lots more if you use this tactic, but you may gain lots more as well.

i still think the only way of getting good drops is after maintenance.

well i tried, had normal item, ref, uni, and elite. i timed and after 12 mins at a MinMacaque spawn i got super 2 sock bow. im guessing this may work. but day before i heard of this i got a elit item then ref then uni then ref again so yeah.. well im happy to find super 2 sock bow anywayz xD

Before you go hunting put a met, some ref or uni items in your inventory.
When your hunting there is an order...

mets > refs > uni > elites/+1's

By taking unis and mets, you skip to the good stuff. Me and wife have tested and got stuff hella lot faster this way.

If this is already up sorry..I did search "hunting" and nothing like it.

Im pretty sure this is more of a superstition than a fact.

sure dropings are random n based on ur luck...if u are so ****** unlucky on that day 3 hours u do hunting, only 3 mets n few refines.. well if ya a lucky person on that day which i got it 1 day, i get 2 +1 1h just few minutes i start hunting...well didnt use the so call put ref , mets n uniques in ur item method...

I took 2mets,ref lvl 5 bs,uni heavyring,elite bs. hunted for an hour with archer in mini double spawn...+1 2h and lots of refs and few mets. it didnt feel any different than without those items in my inventory

Yeah right like I'm dumb enough to think people give stuff like this away out of the kindness of their heart, not to mention walking around with 10 or 20 mill worth of stuff in my inventory as if pk'ers don't exist.

It does amuse me you would think a lot of ppl will try this but it also explains the latest rash of pk'ers.

if anyone has ever programmed..

drop rates of items in an rpg are usually based on a percentage.. e.g.
ref - 10%
uni- 5%
elite - 2%
super - .1%

things like that, or the drop could be fixed at a certain item ..
just because you have items in you inventory that rare does not mean u have a higher chance

this means it could be so that different monsters have higher/lower drop rates of items u know? thats why u might find lots of mets somewhere, and none somewhere else.. this has nothing to do with it

ok here are my stats from my last plvlin session which was yesterday

i wrote down the results, here they are:

Place: Ape City; New Map; Below the top left corner (the spawn with that tree)
Inventory: 15 Speed Arrow Packs, Ape City Scroll
Newbies: 4
Duration: 1 hour
Items found:
7 mets
8 refineds
5 uniques
2 elites
1 super

ref-ref-met-ref-met-ref-ref-uni-met-ref-uni-ref-met-met-elite-uni-uni-met-ref-uni-met-elite-super

i dunno if the pattern thing is right, but it looks like you have to have refs and unis in your invent before elites drop...
i'll make further test tomorrow

omg please stop...its all really based on luck theres no such thing as ref-ref-met......bla bla bla....i got elite n mets b4 in few minutes after i hunt without having any refines in my invent
