Metzone, mobs edited for better finding + map

since new pacth the birds are all the same name and now server sided. You can no longer change the size to tell them apart.

please use search (and type in met dove) next time and check the date of the thread first.

the "real" met dove can´t be edited anymore, becasue it has the same name now (correct me if i´m wrong please).
now you have to scatter them to see which is the real one, but there´s a map of met zone somewhere in this forum with the spawns of the real dove.

i've tried the monster dat file and the met doves are the same size still ...is it still working today ?

i accidentally replaced without making a back up of the old Monster.dat....anyone have it?

#1-these dont work anymore because of all the latest updates,this thread started about 2 years ago.
#2-everyone should know that you must back up your files before overwriting,just reinstall the game.
#3-there is no way to make big met doves because the met doves are all same monster just the ""super met doves" have more defence now

ok 4 all u people who dont know when metdove spawns is this. . . only 1 metdove spawns at a time when u kill it without ur guard it will take 2 mins to respawn after 5 or 6 times it wont spawn and i havent waited around to find out how much time u have to wait for it to spawn again the regular metzone map with the mets on it works fine i always find it with that map there is one spawn where it spawns alone really easy to find it there if u cant find it anywhere else it appears at the bottom of the map in the middle near a small cliffe or around it happy met hunting hope u get alot of mets and btw u have the map with the mets on it its usually on the left of the met for the sand part and under the met for the grass part the real metdove may also drop a db but it rarely does

<hr>Append on May 10 2007, 04:55<hr> omg sorry for triple post but i forgot to mention how to get out of metzone when ur done collecting mets make a noob char lvl 1-14 have them come to mz give them ur mets and *LET THE NOOB DIE AT METDOVES DONT WHACK A GUARD LIKE SOME OTHER PERSON IN THIS POST SAID* if u attack guard ur noob dies and the mets and w/e else he has drops die by metdove not guard only ur main die by guard unless ur noob and metdoves do more than 1 to u

hey, could u plz explain what the item.dat does. all i can see that it has done is get rid of the meteor doves health bars
