The Mad Man Quest - 7 Powders Walkthrough

It took me MANY MANY MANY tries to beat the clock on this section of the quest, and no walkthrough... so here it is. Coordinates are provided to help with navigation...

Once transported to Kun Lun, the red stone is located directly to your left.

Collect the red powder from the stone and travel southeast along the golden walkway to a set of stairs leading down. Follow the chain to the platform of pools. The orange stone (568,528) located at the bottom pool.

Travel west to the wooden platform. There is a chain at the northwest end leading to the Yellow stone (511, 526).

Travel north east from the stone across the lava platform. Cross the chain to the stone platform. The Green stone is in the northwestern corner (485,480).

Along the northern rim, there are some stepping stones a hop away. Hop along to a complete path of stepping stones. Travel along this path. You will pass two stone platforms before coming to the blue stone (386,446). It is just two stepping stones off of the path after the second platform. You will have to jump to get to it.

After, you will travel north up the path for a while until the path bend back east. Begin jumping from stone to stone northwesterly to the indigo stone (301,361).

Travel east, hopping from stone to stone until the path resumes. Take the path along its north/northeastern route. You will come to a platform (254,243), at the northern rim you will need to find the stones to jump to to get to the final stone. Jump until you find another path and follow it north. You should see the purple stone to the right of the path (154,125).

Now you can make the rainbow powder.

ok well if you dont like some one for saving people some time, that's your prerogative... i'd hardly call that failing. but i appreciate your input.

Nice contribution, but its kind of unnecessary. It did it first go on all my accounts, and i think it would be an easier walk through if you posted pictures of the places, with cords under it.

People tend not to ready it if you just have a huge block of text.

ok guys thanks for the input. i had decided not to put a map, as there is no editable map ready, i will see about grabbing it out of the CO folder and put it here with some nice little stars on it.

This quest used to be repeatable, and it gave 5/6th of an exp ball everytime. i **** you not, they patched it in 5095 or 5096.

Would've been alot easier it you had mentioned there was an ORANGE stone on the water platform before the wood and lava platform...but good guide

for those that have trouble doing it within the time: this is what i used to do before i knew all locations: enter and find the first 4 or 5 and then disconnect or close conquer and then login again, enter again and go find the last ones.
