Your Guide To The Market
Hi I know theirs hundreds of theads about the market and how to make money ect. but i hope to make a guide that conbines all of these and theirfore is more helpful.
My first guide
Getting Started
Now to start off making money I reccomend getting a few levels and going to Ape City or Bird Island and looting gold and items also using an item type identifyer such as evanxxxm's purple paw identifyer:
you can pick up only refined/unique/elite/super items and gems that people have missed, refined you can wear or may sell at the shop, unique and up either keep them if you can or will be able to wear them later on or save them to set up your market stall later on.
Ok its market time now and the only way to find out the price of items is to go around the market checking all the stalls all prices are different on different servers so dont ask me here. I price all my items slightly lower then other peoples so for example if i see a unique rage armour for 200k i'd sell mine for 180k and people will go for mine first also the positioning of your store matters alot aswell we will come to that later.
So to start Set up a a stall in the market you can do this by clicking one of the flags and clicking ok and your character will start vending. Now some spots are better than others so i will post a map indicating where you want your store.
Try the area marked blue on the map if theirs no spaces their then try red their will normally be spaces here on a medium server and if theirs really no spaces in either of those then try priority 3 now at the buisiest time on the day you may have to go into the black areas this has happened once on my server to me but it shouldnt usually.
now you have a shop spot click on the blue mat then drag and drop your item and select your price. The little gems are called CP's (Conquer Points) and one CP is worth the same as the price of a db devided by 215 on your server. Its always best to prices your items in coins unless they are extremely good (im talking 25kk+). Now its always best to go AFK (Away from keyboard) or play another character while you have your shop set up and check every now and then for questions and to see if anything sold.
Making A Character For Marketing
Now many people make characters specificaly for selling things at the market and to store items to be sold and theirs tricks to making one. The first is making your character female because it normally sells more (lol).
Also making your character stand out matters ALOT heres an example (i know its not female but its the best i could prepare in 2 mins lol)
Christmas cap: Bright red stands out cheap
Coat: Low level bright red stands out cheap
Firestick: May be quite hard to get one but stands out alot because its animated and lets out sparks.
A rose is a cheaper and easier to get than a firestick and is a good alternative.
Garment:Cirtain garments are reat for the advertisisnt of goods i reccomend DreaminFlowers (female only) can be a bit expensive tho.
Try keeping your market character level one because it can be used to save your drops in metzone as level ones wont drop items if killed by monsters (not players so WATCH OUT)
Always keep your acount in Twin City because if people see somebody looking like this in a place where they can PK you then they will.
Starting To Merchant
So you have been going around the market atleast once a day for about a week now right? then you must know the price that most common items sell for by now so you can start merchanting.
Merchanting is the art of buying things low and selling them high for example if the average price of a meteor is 100k and you see one in somebodys for 50k then you buy it and put it into your shop for 100k now what i personally do is for example see a met for 50 when average price is 100k then i will buy it then put it in my shop for 95k so people will buy it you will be amazed at how faster yours will sell if you price it just 5-10k less than other peoples.
So now you have 1-5kk you can go around scouting the market for great deals and then putting them in your shop for more. Now it isnt worth spending 5kk on an item to make a 50k profit because the profit margin is an extremely low percentage. Now if you buy something for 5kk and know you will make a 1kk profit its worth it because its a reasonable profit margin/percentage.
Your well on your way to getting rich now and im sure you know alot about the market but their may be some tricks that you still dont know about.
Tips And Hints
Quality gems
The first is gems... gems are good to make a profit on but its also worth ALWAYS worth hovering you mouse over them and reading the text because you might find a refined gem priced the same as a normal gem like this:
When this happens snap it up and sell it for the price of the refined gem.
Also make a note of not making this mistake yourself because it can be very costly.
Mistakes With CP's
The second is finding peoples mistakes such as when people are meant to price something in CP's but by mistake price it in coins because their in a rush like this:
This isnt a very common mistake but if you find an extremely good item with this mistake then you could make a profit of over 100kk.
Also one that you dont want to make yourself, never rush.
Missing Out Zero's
The third is finding mispriced items alot of people miss out zero's its quite funny to find them like this.
Composing Gems
Fourth is composing gems if your lucky enough to be on a server where you can do this calculate the price of 15 normal or refined gems on your server then find the price of a refined or super gem on your server (of the same type ofcourse) and and then minus the cost of the 15 refined/normal gems away from the price or refined/super gems and if you make a nice ammount of profit then compose gems at the jewler in the market near where you exchange mets for met scrolls.
The Lottery
Fith is the lotto
This is very risky but can pay off but this will cost alot its all about luck so I cant really say much on this matter.
Upgrading Item Quality
Sixth is supering items you have to be very rich to do this you buy an elite 2 socket item prefrebly low level and then make it super and sell it for alot more but you have to know alot about the exact prices of different super items and calculate it with the cost of db's (not the best way of making cash)
Water Tao Rebirth
Seventh is reborning waters and making items blessed or lower level but you must be like a level 130 archer with full 2 soc and if you have that gear why are you reading this? lol so no use for lower levels.
People In A Rush
Number eight is standing near warehouse and waiting for bargins alot of people are in a hurry for cash and will sell things at very low prices this will also give you room to haggle because they are not afk.
Hawking
Number nine ALWAYS HAWK it does draw attention and if somebody is looking for a particular item and you pur item name in your hawk the will come right to your shop.
1 Coin Lower
Number ten is you can price you items like this 199999 instead of 200k looks less dosent it also random numbers like this also work 198532 but watch out not to change the first 2 3 or 4 decimals too low otherwise it wil completely change the item price.Looks less dosent it?
Moon Box Quest
Number eleven is to do the moon box quest... not much to do with the market but if you sell the moonboxes depending on the server you can get 3-10kk each theirs a guide by maxidanny31
Market NPC's
An NPC is a non-player-character opperated by the server automatically. Now the new market pathfinding system is out their is no need for this section so lol bye bye.
Making Items +n
Making items +n makes them better by increcing their stats. Different items get different stats im sure if you seach the fourms you may find a table of information about what stats get what but this is a simple guide on how to get those stats.
When you go to the wuxing oven Pathfinding > Compose Items > +1 - +8
Then pick compose +1 - +p items.
Then it will come up with a big slot, put the item you want to give +n to into that slot.
Then 2 smaller slots will appear now either put 2 +n stones into that slot or 1 stone and 1 +n item of the same type into the 2 slots or both +n items of the same type into that spot.
Example. +1 stone, +1 stone --or-- +1 stone, +1 coronet --or-- +1 coronet, +1 coronet
so if you have an eliete coronet and you want to make +1 use one of those combonations to make the coronet +1.
Heres a simple table on what you need for what.
To make item need & need

Goes on upto 9.
High level stones can cost many db's and some of the ultimate players only have their equipment +5 because of the huge costs.
