How to fix your proxy (after 4347)

it wasn't this program!

there was a proxy going around with a BACKDOOR in it, not a keylogger, the backdoor sent all the input you put into conquer while you had the proxy installed. this proxy was called proproxy, it was the first i saw in a while that all the features worked. but sad to say somethings are to good to be true. but you don't have to worry about any backdoors or keyloggers on epvp, we take care of our own here, just make sure it as been scanned for keyloggers and other malware and if it is a proxy or other java based programs make sure a administrator or somebody that knows what they are doing checks the code for suspicious code. Also i must tell you now, all java scripts have a backdoor, it is for the creator or other coders to go into it and edit or take from or even add to the code, the only time a backdoor is a problem if it is hemorrhaging information like a free bleeding emo. But in short this proxy has nothing wrong with it, it has been checked and cleared by the mods. but always wait for new things to be checked before using them.

@Zangetsu: the same thing in the other proxy, just fixed the ip from127.0.0.1 to 127.0.1.1 or your ip... it is easy to do just use notepad to edit the .ini file and chagne the line "proxyip=127.0.0.1" to "proxyip=127.0.1.1" or even "proxyip=[your ip that you get from ip chicken.com]". note that when you use your ip you also have to change the ips in the serer.dat file to your ip.
@conquerbhd: read the post above yours, it is a quote from myself having to explain it before, i will not explain it a 3rd time, if you don't trust it don't use it, it is simple, i am not holding a gun to your head.
@chengzi: just go to the hot linklist in my sig and then go to the multiclient section on making your own, it is a good DYI(Do it Yourself Instructional) i use it, it has pictures and shows what ya have to do, i personaly change "English" to "Chinese" because it fits so well, an after a patch i can just check and see if it is still chinese or if i have to edit again.

ya im pretty sure i have latest jre...i went to java sun site and downloaded versuin 6 update 1...it is the same version i have.....j2re-1_4_2_14-windows-i586-p.exe...is there a later version i am missing???? i feel like such a fkin idiot..i got it working b4..now it wont even load
