Originally posted by ~Unknown~@May 7 2007, 00:13 ah I see. Well although I don't know anything about c++, let me know if you have any questions about packets since thats why you made this, but I'm sure by now you know all there is to know eh?
Will do xD I don't know much about packets but I have a decent build of ones I've come across so far. I barely know all there is to know :P
@Orochisuke: Not that I know of. You'll just have to do what I do. Go somewhere secluded and do certain actions and see which packet id shows up. Like trade is 0x0420 which I was just looking at earlier today. after char id 1 = request , 3 = open trade window and in a null packet 9th space 0x0A = other player accept and 0x04 = close trade window.
also forgot something in the last update. I added a line to the config. You can stick "special-id = ***" to log any packet to a separate file so you don't have to search through a large list of packets to find one you need or a group of ones you need (limit 100).
@bone-you, I love your skills, and pls dont get aimbot to it. It's not even something good.. Just negetive effects except for the one who use it (even called wanna-bie)...
Originally posted by bone-you@May 7 2007, 12:13 ok, there was a bug preventing me from using release mode when compiling but I just fixed that. Try downloading it now and see if it still errors.
o.O well I don't have access to XP SP2 so I can't check if it's that or something else. Works on Vista and XP x64. Add me to msn. I suppose I can try a few things to see if it'll work.
Well, I've never had that problem when using VS7.0 so it must be an 8.0 thing x.x all I can say is try it once more (reuploaded). If that doesn't work then I give up lol.
packet logger 07/01/2009 - Perfect World - 25 Replies Here's a tiny pw packet dumper that gets the packet data out of the client (before it encrypted and after it decrypted) and dumps to the console and to text file.
It has some little limitations however, not all login traffic dumped I believe, also there's no 'control messages' ('zero' bytes between packets).
How to use: start program | start client; login and have fun.
If you're interested in future packed investigations. feel free to icq me (the answer to antispam is 0).
Hope this will...
