I have no idea why you even talk about this things.

1 - TIME
If you set your computertime correct, wherever you are in the world, and use autoupdater, the servertime in the game will be the correct time.
Add one hour on your computer, and the servertime changes.
There is a reason why there is a servertime, and a point in having that the same for all (as many as posible sense not all use standard time in the world)

2 - LOTTERY
Its pure luck, and if you use 10 DBs every week, i hope you win something good.
Or you must be the most stupid noob in the game.
Its like sockets, it doesnt matter if you have sex with your sister before, or spouse a noob male tao, that have nothing to do with it.
The more you use the lottery, the bigger you chances are.

And, i won Class8Moneybag, 2-socket earings, 1-socket bag , +8 archer hat, +6 and +3 stones and some other stuff.
And i only enter the lottery 16 times.
It does not matter what date, day or time you enter, its random.

As some players claim, taking the same box over and over again gives better winnings.
Yes, thats true.
But that is only for the reason that the chance that it be the same winning 8 times in a row is very small.
The chances are pretty big that you get a couple of small and a couple of medium, and maybe a higher winning like that.
Its like using the same numbers in a lottery irl every week.
But, with an amazing luck, you can win 8 high winnings in 8 try if you take the boxes randomly.
But how much chance is that?
Its like finally get all the numbers in a lottery irl.

3 - SOCKETS
Might as well explain that too.
As said before, it doesnt matter if you have sex with your sister before, or spouse a noob male tao, that have nothing to do with it.
It does not matter what time you try, or how many kills you have, or the cordinates you stand on.

Basic, what moron would get a socket, and belive in that crap, and dont continue making the full equipment socketed?
And how many of those that have there "tricks for sockets" run around with there new made noob equipment full socketed?
Grow up, and smell the coffee kids!?
And how many of this "working tricks" comes from those that actully have full sockets, and are no.1 at money board?
If ONE of those tricks would work, they would not sit here telling it.

Start with the basics, what makes a socket?
A "failiure" in the updates.
The chance of getting a socket is bigger the lower the level, quality and + as well as enchantments are.
In other words, for those that actully understands the upgrades, knows its harder to upgrade better quality and higher level equipments.
The same goes with getting sockets, the chance are bigger for a failiure without getting a socket, then getting a failiure with a socket if the level, quality are higher, and all other added stuff to the equipment.
Its pure programing to make a randomness.

Advanced, not for many of the noobs here, the programing of randomness.
You could count out the exact programing, but then you have to be alone.
As soon as someone else goes in between you, your countings will not add up.
The more you try, the closer you will come to the exact count.
But as soon as someone else steps in between, all odds are off again.
Its like getting EXP from monsters, it depends on the strenght/attack and the defense at the monster, and the factor of what level you are that will regain into your EXP before you levels.

Everything is programed to a randomness.
Mets/DBs, sockets, and so on... this is programed in an randomness depending on your parts in the game.
Diffrence from lottery, where the character, equipment, EXP, ect. have absolute nothing to do with it.
There you have a pure randomness.
Everytime you open 1 box, everyone changes.
In the lottery there is also programed to be stuff of a special sort.
That way you can always win a bigger or a smaller winning.

And i got 14 sockets the last year, not by "trying" but simply by leveling my equipments.
But then i have a few more characters then you, so the chances are x the many more characters i have more then you, to get a socket that way.

And for you that think you was smart, and skiped a few rows... no there are no tricks for sockets, its still random.

4 - METS & DB DROPS
Same there, but its programing.
Drops are set in diffrent areas on diffrent monsters.
And the drops are placed randomly between this areas.
Depending on if there are few or more playing and killing monsters between this areas, places the foundations for the randomness of met and db drops.

In this case, time can be of talking.
But time have nothing there at all, if there are no one else there to back up the programing of the drops.

If your good, you find a spot and fast collect a bag full of mets.

If your brilliant, you find the areas and calculate the random drops and get 10 scroll each day, without spending to much time at all.

And to stop with saying what it all started with, you play with other players.
The only thing that makes time a factor in the game, is depending on when players are online and what the players do online.

And kids, if you decide to use your brains, dont over work them.
All is logic......

Its rare that i do write, i mostly read.
But the last couple of months i belvie that it should have been the other way around.
I do the writtings and most of the writers be quite and read

Compare it to the game.

It might be good if they set a test of questions about the game, before anyone could enter it.

its definatly possible that certain times are more lucky than others... im not much of a lotto person went like 10 times total but ill try it why not... its only a db =\

Think of one basic thing, the pure common sense.
Why would the game create a coding based on ex. the time?
Would it not be more logic that the game create a system based on the factors of the game?

I allready added the fact that there is a diffrence in upgrade the equipments depending on the level, quality etc.
Why would not sockets be based on the same?

And sure, i can get 5-10 2-sockets in a week.
Its not a question of "tricks", its a question of money and mets

The thing is, it's all based on a random algorythm, which is not impossible to figure out, you just need to be a genious and spend half a lifetime on it:P

here's what you need to do (dn't try this btw, cuz if tey find out you'll get totally sued):

1) hack CO, to see what algorythm they are using, and see what the variables are. (one of em is definately utem lvl, and one probably time or ammount of sockets given in x hours then there's definately a one or more randoms in it.)
2) figure out what random script they are using (e.g. java, vb, php( <- definately not php, but it's an example :P)
3) try to brake the algorythm, so you can predict what numbers will come out of "random" (this is almost impossible, and im not exaggerating)
4) wright your own similar algorythm that can calculate the outcome of the CO one if you fill in all the variables. (this could also be tricky considering that the "random algorythm might be dependant of time)
5) log into the game, and open a chest, or gamble at exactly the roght time. (this is pretty impossible if one of the variables is dependant of the time in ms exactly)


so....my point is actually:

STOP trying to figure this out, because you just cant. just make better use of your time. And if you really want the free money thing, just hack CO database, that's a lot easier

But you will then get lots of good stuff in the new relesed Conquer Online v428.47 (December 2056)

The most funny thing about the lottery must be to enter it at the same time as an really high level character.
Do that, and you will see him turn in to a child, and scream at you that you should leave.
And if you dont, you will see how an 2nd RB 130 Trojan turns into an newbie screaming at other newbies at level 4 killing his pheasant.

And whatever you do, dont ask if mommy is there to wipe his tears...
