CO2m8 Version 2.02(SemiFull) is now available for game client 5155

Well I'm happy to say the new co2m8 base weathered the 5155 storm fairly well and were up and running again, after seeing what a mess 5155 is I'm sure were going to see many bug fix versions and I will do my best to stay abreast of them all.

So as for m8 2.02, its now all mostly working, including mining
the only exceptions are mana potting, whisper notification and speeding(not putting that back in)
Please report any issues on this thread.

PS Be careful with the DMA defeat stuff it works but not sure how safe it is yet, so don't use your best characters.

One major issue I found right away. Somehow they made it clear the password area if you type anything in the account area. For instance for my warrior farmers, I gave them all the same name and password but with a number following the name. As soon as I add the 1 to the account name the password clears. I really don't want to add all 50 of my farmer names individually into the co2m8 database but if I have no choice I guess I will have to.

Also, VP's not showing.

As for all those char logins, if I was you I would use m8's export/import function and lots of copy pasting

thats not what I'm saying. If I have a bunch of chars named mywater1, mywater2, mywater3 and so on, all with the same password, I used to be able to have one spot in the m8 list with mywater and no number. It would load the account name and password fine and I could simply add a 1, 2, 3 and so on after the account name on the login screen and I could log on no problem. This saved having to have all 50 waters listed in the m8 list. Now, after m8 inserts the account name and password into the login screen and you type anything extra into the account portion, it clears the password section and I have to type out the entire password again. This kinda defeats the purpose of having the account manager in the first place.

I guess the only thing I can do now is have all of my multiple chars with each number in the main list. Which will make my list VERY long. Unless you can find someway to get past their little password clearing issue.

Yeah I know what you were getting at, unfortunately the client don't wanna make that sort of thing easy anymore.
I wont be hacking their **** flash pages if someone else wants to and pass me the bits that's fine but I just don't have time for that.

M8 can handle lists of several hundred that's what it was designed for.

i had to download the memory tables which didnt go up to the version but seemed to work, now when i try to load m8 i get missing m8 overlay, wen i click ok and click any button on m8 i get missin m8 overlay then runtime error 63 bad record number any ideas ?

You appear to have some corruption.
If your going for the 5155 client the 2.02 version is all inclusive no table downloads required.
Whatever the case unpacking the m8 package into a new directory and copying the M8data directory from the old install should fix your issues but you will need to set the m8's global configuration items to your specifications again.

Do you have the "DMA Defeats" box ticked in the L menu.
It should be on before you start the clients
or if clients are already started then restart M8 the first time you turn it on.

Also look at the memory screen under the S menu and see if its showing values for HP and MP.


PS Please let me know if this fixes the problem so I can deal with it if it doesn't.
