was thinking it would just kick hunting up that extra lvl by knowing what items are worth even picking up and which arnt...

This would be difficult and you would need the itemtype.dat aswell.

I don't know if it's possible to do that, unless you like used Cotobo with it or something.. i really don't know.

But i made a kick *** soundpack by "borrowing" sounds from multiple games. I might post it for download eventually. It's the sickest most extensive sound pack I've seen yet. You'll surely cream your pants multiple times while discovering the new sounds.

That sounds really hard and i think that items dropping besides Mets,Dbs,Gems et cetra only have the special "Ding" noise all other drops have a generic sound file behind them.

I have a little request... Is it possible to change the bell sound for another that is someone saying "lol" at same tone? like someone record his voice saying that word and then renaming the bell file to play it every time you are near a met/db. If it's possible to do that I would like to request it from anyone that want to give it a shot and make a good "LOL" sound. It would be nice if the person upload 2 files, a preview file to hear it before install and another to install it. Thanks for your attention.

As stated in post #1 they go in you Conquer 2.0\sound folder.
Make a backup of that folder first, so you can switch back if you don't like the new sounds.

it has to be a wave file..

Bit Rate: 705 kbps
Audio Sample Size: 16 Bit
Channels: 1(mono)
Audio sample rateL 44kHz
Audio format: PCM

by now your wondering what in the hell are you talking about...

Ok first thing you need to download Acez Mp3 Wav Converter which can be found at google or

Download it...Install it..Run It

+Add <-- Find your sound that you want to use for your met...

then set the setting

-Output type: wav
-Format: Microsoft PCM
-Frequecy: 44100 hertz.
-Channels: momo
-Bits/Sample: 16bits

then Covert < ---Start--- >

The file will open up in a new windows

go to

-C: drive
-Program Files
-Conquer 2.0
-sound
-Paste it

Then run Conquer Online Drop a met or go hunt for a met and the song you like will play for you
also you can do this to all of the sounds but you have to know the settings...

Thanks for your time and patience to make a tutorial about changing sound files and converting, but one thing left, i've asked if someone got a good "lol" sound to replace the bell one,'cause i can't do this myself, i dun have a mic to record my voice. So I leave a request to anyone that want to try it out and have some fun recording your own voice saying the word >>> LOL <<< at the same tone as the met/db sound when it drops on the ground. This would be funny and i'll be very glad if anyone make it for me
