127.0.0.1 is the standard IP address used for a loopback network connection.


This means that if you try to connect to 127.0.0.1, you are immediately looped back to your own machine.

If you telnet, ftp, etc... to 127.0.0.1, you are connected to your own machine.

In other words, 127.0.0.1 is you.

For example, if your system was named "joker", and you attempted to telnet to 127.0.0.1, you would see:

# telnet 127.0.0.1
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to joker
Escape character is '^]'.
Convincing newbie's to connect to 127.0.0.1 is a frequent joke on the Internet.

Another name for 127.0.0.1 is localhost.

Although 127.0.0.1 is the most commonly utilized address for localhost, any IP address in the 127.*.*.* range should also function in the same manner.

The proper use of localhost addresses is defined in RFC 3330: Special-Use IPv4 Addresses

The IPv6 version of localhost is defined in RFC 3513: Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) Addressing Architecture as ::1/128.




Are you sure this QOProxy have keylogger or backdoors ??

Yes it does..
And it's not a joke to tell people to connect to 127.0.0.1...
Not in this case..

This program runs on your own computer.. You need to change your server.dat so that your own server's IP is 127.0.0.1 in order for this program to work.
This is a proxy.. Since you know where to find 127.0.0.1, I'll let you figure out what a proxy is..

So you make Conquer connect to the proxy, which then connects to the real conquer servers..

The proxy graps the packets before they come to the Conquer Client in order to make you aimbot, speedhack and whatever the proxy can do.

The reason I say it has a keylogger is, that it sends your username and password to the creator of the program, simply because he made the program like that, in order for him to control who uses his proxy.. And to be sure that people wouldnt use it against him Without paying badly for it, if they ****** him off..

So to sum it up:

No matter if you copy&paste, type it normally, use your **** to type your username and password, it will be sent to the creator..
But it doesn't leave any backdoors in your system..

when i first dled this and used it i was like this is so awesome, but i realize now when the rong people get their hands on this its very very bad, especially since turks now have another hck to add to their collections tho i love it i hope TQ patches it for the sake of not ruining this game

Normal way :

+Your computer --->> connect to server to get log in.

QOProxy way:


+Your computer --->> get thru ip : 127.0.0.1 (your localhost which mean thats YOU) --->> connect to server to log in.

And let's think where is your information going to ?
- to your computer or to server ?

I only looked at a few small sections of the codes, but I think the only difference between Q's proxy and the one mudflaps put up, is that the new one changed a few variable names and the names of some objects, it's basically the exact same thing with different names and more spacing. The new names are longer and in machine code it takes up more space in memory, more 0s and 1s, which is the only reason why it's a bigger file.

yes you lol...
I never said anyone got hacked.. But still your password gets sent to the creator..
He decides if he wants to **** you over, or if he just wants to work on his own projects, and let people use the proxy..

I never said anything about that if you use it, you are 100% sure to get hacked..
I'm merely telling people how it works, so they don't whine if they log on to a naked char..

So lol away..

You sound so smart, because you know what 127.0.0.1 is..
the reason you connect to 127.0.0.1, is that you need conquer to connect to the proxy with your username and password, which it then sends to Conquer servers and to the creator of the program.. And the reason it does that is, BECAUSE IT WAS MADE LIKE THAT!!

And you think that 127.0.0.1 is you.. it is, in one way, but when you connect to it, its the proxy that takes your login info..

So even if you mean that you connect to yourself, and the CO servers, then the proxy also sends id and pass to the creator..

Capiche???

I seriously dont know how to cut it up more.. This should be way too easy for people in a hacking forum to comprehend.. But I guess some of you, just dont get it..

the problem is :
127.0.0.1 ... u login to that ip because QOproxy is an emulator
if osmeone read the ******* source code will see all things
if one ******* idiot nub come here and tell me isn`t right i wanna he to prove me
so ... if someone will read source code will be "smart" and welcome to use QOproxy
for any idiots who don`t know wtf is source code stfu and die

Haha, this is great, keep crying *******, you guys ****** up this game with speed hacking and lvl botting, choke on the bullshit you helped create. I hope everyone on this site has to deal with tons of noobs aimbotting them on a daily basis. Guess ill just tg chars until tis one gets fixed like i did last time.
