This will get get co2m8 mostly working again,
a new version is being working on now.
As always I love your programs. Thanks for the quick update on the 5028 table. I can't wait until you can update the DMA defeats again. Do you have a time table for HP potting or disc? How much trouble would it be to add lucky time to your gui? I see you already have it as a disc function.
As you can see Joek, everyone loves this tool for CO2, its really good.
However as you are probably aware there are issues since 5028 update, with CO2M8 not working in its entirety, and with 5031 released this morning it now no longer reads/picks up the character.
I know you are probably very busy, and I know I am just a leech (since i am no where near clever enough to learn to programme), however, do you have any time scale as to when you envisagage a working and upto date CO2M8?
Im not being impatient and I hope you dont think I am being rude, I just check these pages reasonably regually, and there has been little communication since the 5028 patch.

Maybe he's too busy or on holiday. I suggest to backpatch to 5028. Not everything is working with this patch. But some functions still work and co2m8 will recognise the chars at least.

As JoeK seems to be away (somewhere on a sunny beach, I hope for him ;-), I'll post a new memory table to make Co2M8 work for now.
Credits go to warriorchamp and everyone else who helped to collect the new addresses.
How to use? Unzip the file and put it in your Co2m8 folder, overwrite the old .inf file.
For those whose Co2m8 has not been working since patch 5028 ... are you fully patched? Maybe Co2m8 is broken, try re-downloading it.
I got in running without problems, am fully patched, using a self-made multi.
my NOD32 found a virus and doesn't even let me download it. :/

Yes, some scanners find a virus in it since the file is packaged and protected:

Yes as already stated code packaging and protection will show some discrepancies with some scanners.
The new co2m8 package(1.44) is packed using some aspects of the Themida style protection system.
I had no choice as some individuals were re-releasing m8 on other sites after doing all sorts of things to it.
Sorry guys I will not have my code and my reputation clouded in that way and
so certain measures had to be taken to protect both myself and the m8 users.
It fully passes the boards recommended scanner and the moderators don't have a problem with it so I'm not gonna change it.

I have been using Co2m8 ... well ... forever, and never got "hacked" or something. So I'd say it's save.

Yes there will be a new version of co2m8 in the near future but its on hold at this point till certain things resolve themselves.
