The normal shortcut that comes with conquer2.0 points to play.exe any how, not the conquer.exe. Thats the normal way to start, which starts the autopatch process.
It's the autopatch thats having the troubles right now. If you go to TQ's conquer forum you'll see it listed in troubleshooting section.
Anyhow the work around for autopatch is this.
Right click the conquer.exe file drag on drop where you want to make shortcut, desktop, quicklaunch or where ever.
Now right click the shortcut you just made, left click Properties, once there you'll see Target, with the path to where your conquer.exe file is located, [ "D:\Conquer2.0\Conquer.exe" ] will look something like that, or [ "C:\Program Files\Conquer2.0\Conquer.exe" ].
Click in the little box next to target, make sure your all the way to the right. Type in blacknull, nothing else. Will look like this [ "C:\Program Files\Conquer2.0\Conquer.exe"blacknull ].
Click Apply, then click on Genral tab at top. Click in box on top, to change the name. I used Conquer2.0 Blacknull, so you know that it's different then the normal one and that it will bypass the autopatch. Click Apply again, then OK.
Your done.
Now left click this new shortcut you just made. Login screen should come right up for you now.

i have some problem with multiclient it only opens 4 and the max i can open 10 but after new patch i can only open 4 kiNDA STRANGE never had this kinda problem anyone how can i solve this
