I see 2 different solutions posted for fixing multiclient on 4312. Current patch is 4313, in spite of the typos, tho I don't know if Conquer.exe changed or not in the latest patch....
It is obvious that something major has been done to the executable. It is 1/4 of the previous size. I'm not sure that tq was trying to get rid of multiclients. They may have simply been trying to make the exe smaller. They seem to have run something like upx on it (a compression program which makes the exe decompress itself into memory when it runs:

.
Another poster said they unpacked it with restuner, which (according to their site) is a wrapper for upx for this function.
I have tried many versions of upx on my 4313 Conquer.exe, none of them are able to unpack it. I have verified the md5sum of my Conquer.exe matches on all machines, and even those of a friend at a different location.
For what it is worth, my md5sum is: f9c3f22628976a41d33965b902ef2e9f
Yet another poster edited the compressed file without uncompressing it. Luckily for him, the 'Eng' fragment was still visible, but I don't think he edited what he thinks he did.... My guess is that is the table for tokens to decompress with. Probably every occurance of 'Eng' in the executable got changed when it decompressed.
I'm much happier with editing the exe myself, as I can do it each time a new version comes out (and I know where the exe came from). I'm happy that you all are so trusting of those scanners.... it really isn't that hard to make something the scanners haven't seen before... lol
Anyone else had luck unpacking Conquer.exe?
