Based On the 'Scamming with Gems' Thread

I'll tell how and you do it, so I'm not flamed for trying to scam you...

Firstly u need to have a normal gem, like rainbow, dragon or phoenix
Get a Hex Editor (I like HexWorkshop)
open ur item.dat
Change the description of the chosen normal gem so it looks exactely as the super gem.
You should change the file also to show names for Command Tokens, or to show item quality on floor.
Send the file to a "friend", telling him it helps a lot with MoonBox quest
Get a noob and sell him ur normal gem (that will look like super gem to him) for half the price of a super gem, or the price you want...

well for all the people who dont know how to hex edit ther own files.. i have provided with this thread, the editted itemtype.dat file.

Instructions for this scam:

1. Download the itemtype.zip file.
2. Find a victim for the scam.
3. Find a way to send him the modified itemtype.dat. Some ways to do this is to say[depending on the victim, ofcourse] that this file can help with moonbox quest or if hes jus a rich noob say "THIS FILE IS SOME UBER LEET HAX! ITOWNZ!".
4. Show him your normal gems, which by this time should appear as supers to him if he has overwrited his original itemtype.dat file.
5. Sell to him for cheap or if u have a lot of gems, simply give him like a whole trade full for w/e u want from him!

See? its not hard at all. So you guys please stop flaming before reading the entire thing.

This file i have editted Normal Rains to Super Rains and Normal Dragons to Super dragons.

Also, the file, ive tested..whenever i hover over a potion, "vanilla" Conquer will automatically crash. i dunno how to fix it since im a noob..but other than that..the file is fine for the scam..anyonme wanna fix the bug, go right ahead, i dont care.

Changes:
- Made Super Rains,Nix,and Drags appear as super gems when using this version of itemtype.dat

Update
- I have fixed all the bugs. sry, im such a noob. lol.
- the file is now flawless. but still recommended for scamming use only.
- simply download the new file.

Instructions
1. Download the .zip file
2. Make a back up of the original or current itemtype.dat file that you are using.
3. Extract the editted itemtype.dat file into your Conquer 2.0/ini folder.

Once again, this version of itemtype.dat is for the scam only. I recommend
making a backup of the original file.
Edit: If mods think posting this is no good, then just delete. lol

yeah but just for people who wanna try it out..this scam doesnt have to be for friends..but its still a good idea, try it on someone u dont like or someone who just doesnt deserve to be on the game

Okay, I guess once again, the noobs here need an explanation:

For this scam to be perfect, you have to somehow send or get your 'victim' to use this editted itemtype.dat file. if u you cant then the scam wont work. Dont go around flaming me just cuz u dont understand it.

this itemtype.dat is basically the modified itemtype.dat that shows item quality on the ground and command tokens. The only changes that i made was that i changed norm rains,nix,and drags appear like supers.

lol. first of all, if you dont like the idea of scamming a 'friend' on CO, then dont bother posting here. 2nd of all, this scam doesnt have to be targeted to frends. if you are smart enough, you can be able to think of a way to somehow get this file through to someone else thats not your friend.
