* Never share accounts with anyone unless it is a close friend or a family member.
* Do NOT be fooled by players pretending to be a GM. GM's have the [GM] tag at the end of their name which cannot be duplicated by normal players. Although there has been a rumour where players have been able to use the [GM] tag and GM talk channel by packet sending. So the best bet would be to trust a well known admin/ GM such as Star7 or Banana.
* Run an active Anti virus software. Keyloggers which can record your every keystroke is classified as a Trojan horse which is a virus. With an active anti viral software, you can delete the virus the second your anti virus program detects it.
* Always remember your security questions, your warehouse password, and the email you registered your account with. Without your security questions and the registered email, It will lead the Admins to believe you either bought the account or stole it. There's a possiblity that you can tell them your warehouse password to confirm that it is your acccount.
* NEVER Buy accounts. The owner of the account can easily get his account back anytime with his security questions, no matter what you change the password to. Which means you lose your money and he gets to keep both his account and your money.
* Never enter a house for a trade(that includes your own house). Although the pk is disabled in the house. There is a well known bug where a reborn fire tao can use his guard to pk causing you to drop your item you were orginially going to trade.
* Doublecheck your trades, keep an eye out for any suspicious actions the other player might be doing. Here are some of the things that the cheapskates may do:
Player1(seller) offers to sell a super gem to the buyer
Player2(buyer) accepts the trade
Player1 closes window then offers player2 the trade again but this time with only a NORMAL gem hoping that player2 would simply accept the trade without rechecking the item.
Here is another thing they might do, which is why you should cautious of any suspicious actions the other player might be doing.
Player1(buyer) offers to buy the item that player2 is selling
Player2(seller) Accepts the trade opening up the trade window.
Player1 suspicously keeps closing the trade window.
Player2 Drops the item into the trade window the moment after player1 closes it and it drops to the floor.
Player1 who was waiting for this moment is prepared and grabs the item before player2 can do anything.
* Never marry someone that you do not know very well. Your spouse has complete freedom to take any item out of your item box and it will cost you a meteor tear to divorce. Also watch out for noobs sending you marriage invitations in the market. Be alert to tell the diffrence between a trade invitation and a marriage invitation.
* Ask your friends and guild members before buying to make sure you are getting the item at a good price and not getting ripped off.
* Do NOT fall for any sites claiming to give away free Meteors and Dragonballs. These sites are in no way affiliated with TQ. And as you can see most of these sites ask for your password, something not even TQ's DB credit system requires.
* Do not open any exe files in your email from people you do not know. ZIP and RAR files are alright but i would be highly alert and suspicious of exe files. As the name suggests it "executes" a backdoor program such as a trojan or a keylogger.
* Although this might be common sense:
Never trade anywhere but the Market or TG. Trading your expensive items anywhere else puts you at risk for being pked.
* if you receive an email from an Admin of conquer it should end in @nd.com.cn not @hotmail.com or @yahoo.com or anywhere else. For example:
(not her real email btw.)Regards,
