Easy way to upgrade in TC with mets

What I got so far is:
Drop your dura to zero, go fix it
the max. dura will be lowered, after that drop your dura again to zero and fix etc etc
til you have like 10/10 or 5/5 dura on, say, like lvl 87 tao robe and then upgrade it?????

or drop your dura to zero and then fix JUST ONCE???

without trick: eli+3 troj armor 110-120: 1 met
eli+4 soc robe 115-120: 1 met
eli+3 robe 115-120: 2 mets
eli+4 coro 112-120: 4 mets
sup+2 atk ring 110-116: 1 met

with trick: sup+4 soc troj armor 110-120: 200+ mets

Few Questions:
I hit zero dura twice and my boots are now 27/27 should I try this trick now?
What happens if I hit zero dura more than 3 times???

can u let ur dura go down to like 1-2 then repair it and the max dura of the item still decrease?
because i dont trust myself to go to 0 dura

Your dura needs to go to 0 than repair and u will uograde ur items with 0-20 mets

Pocoto - I've been playing longer than Crystal server, it made me laugh when I saw that... if it was you that said Atropos discovered it in the post I just saw.

But to the people that aren't reading. Your max durability will automatically REPAIR when the upgrade is succesful in TC. You don't have to pay anything, just make sure if you are going to attempt this, that you see it through with TC and just don't give up and go back to using the market and pay for repairs and so on.

Again, his trick increases your chances of saving mets, but doesn't guarantee it.

On xBlacKTigeRx's upgrades... I doubt you had luck like that but if you did, that's a first I've ever heard. No way you would spend 200 mets on an item using this method then do 5 items of similar difficulty to upgrade in 1/2 mets each - definitely more fiction that fact in what you're saying.

Jigawboo - You have to go down to 0 durability, stopping at 1/2 will not work.

Odysseus - I think 3 times is the limit, though I only drop the durability once or twice mostly. I did this to a lvl 100 super shield I had once. I had already broken it 3 times. I tried again, and the durability went over 200 or something, then when I relogged it was back as if I had broken it only once or twice. So I would say 3 times is the most you can do it.

Finally, I think I explained myself clearly enough in my first post. This is NOT a Q&A thread. It's pretty simple and if you can't figure it out without being guided through it step-by-step then you don't deserve to use it. I won't be answering any more questions regarding this.

ok, heres my situation: i had super soc lvl57 gown. i reduced its dura to 0 then repaired. used a met on it and repeated the step. repaired again and used a met and got my dura to 0 for the 3rd time. now my max dura was at 20. i used a few mets on it. then the dura showed 500/28. i was like wtf!!! i repaired it and i became 28/28. the max dura increased somehow. but the gown never upgraded.

I spammed 20 mets on my lvl 80 super BS after hitting zero dura twice and guess what? all failure

it's totally about luck then

You CANT get your dura back to normal. do this only if youre a total cheapass, but youll have to repair your items very often,believe me, it will be very annoying. imagine this, you go hunting and after 5 minttes youll have to go fix your stuff.
